| this site, in my opinion is done. . . i probably won't delete it, because it still has a lot of interesting old posts that i'd like to remember for now . . . maybe xanga will auto-delete it if i don't post in a good long time. . . i don't think many people have been reading it lately anyway, so i don't expect it to distress people that it's gone. i have another journal online. if you are interested, let me know, and i'll send you the address (if you don't already know it, which you probably do if you've paid any attention) . . . adieu. |

| in line with thinking about easter and the resurrection, i'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts about how we as Christians can learn to die to our flesh and see God's power to rescue us from out of the grave of our sinful selves. i know some general answers, the "right" answers, but how does it work where theory meets practice? on a day to day basis, why do we so often lose battles in a war that's supposedly already so masterfully conquered?
i want to stand on the mount and watch Jesus ascend into heaven, to hear Him promise His return.
